The Berengaria International Music Festival is dedicated to the presentation of both chamber and solo music performed by internationally renowned artists.

 

Since its establishment in 2003  artists from Argentina, Austria, Brazil, Chile, Croatia, Cyprus, Germany, Greece, Israel, New Zealand, Rumania, Russia, Scotland, Switzerland and Taiwan have come to the Rialto-Theatre  in Limassol/ Cyprus contributing to the public's enjoyment of a versatile and creative musical feast.

 

As part of its mission to introduce new audiences  – especially young people –  to the  pleasures of classical music, and to deepen the appreciation of concertgoers, the festival offers every year two morning concerts played by exceptionally gifted young prize winners.

 

It is the intent of the festival to perform music of many countries,  written in diverse styles and periods and to create an atmosphere that fosters earnest interaction between performers, audience, and the music itself, appreciated equally by those new to classical music and by connoisseurs who value the intimacy and intensity of the musical experience.
